New Amateur Open Division for us real small boat guys.
Two guys - No Observer

"Open division gives smaller amateur teams the option of participating in the Pro-Am events without the need to include an observer on their boat and they may also chose to fish the Saturday event, the Sunday event or both events. The Open division will be similar to the now popular Friday “pre-fishing” derbies. Teams will weigh-in their best three fish, one of which may be selected (prior to weighing) as their big fish for the day. Separate prizes will be awarded each day based on the field for that day. Payback will be to a minimum of 25% of the field or the top three teams whichever is greater."

Note: - To reduce confusion and misunderstanding, the Pro/Am committees have agreed upon one set of rules to be applied consistently to all four 2010 events.

Fish Feeding - November 9, 2007 - December 31, 2009

The 22,000 gallon fish tank at the Bass Pro Shops Sportsman's Center in the Fingerlakes Mall is the place to be each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at noon. Store fisheries biologist Jason McCoy starts a fish feeding frenzy with the in-tank fisheries. Trophy bass, trout, pike, walleye, panfish and other species boil the water as live and processed bait is feed to them. The tank, the largest of its kind in the area, has various fish from around area waters and some freshwater species from other states as well. Note: The schedule is subject to change.

"Merrit Badges: Our skilled associates can help your scout troop members earn merit badges in activities such as Fishing, Fly Fishing, Camping or Archery. Information is available by contacting the store at 315-258-2700."

"Tours: If your Scout, school or other group is interested in an educational tour of the store, Bass Pro Shops can customize one that's right for your party. The wildlife displays, outdoor equipment, painted wall murals and other interesting subjects in the store make for an enthusiastic store tour."
