A little more clarity on the small craft issue thanks to Brian. If a small craft is issued prior to the start of the event, it is cancelled.  If a small craft is issued any time after 6am on the day of the derby, the derby is OVER at the start of the small craft Advisory.  We understand that the weather can make it unfishable regardless of an advisory issued, however it is up to each person to make their own decision on fishing.  Please remember this is a fun, family-oriented event.
